This article says that portable solar laptop chargers have been around a little while now but this is the first time I have heard of them. A great idea not only as they use a natural resource but could get you out of a bind if you critically needed to use your laptop. My favourite out of the seven reviewed in the article is the Voltaic Generator purely as it looks cool (as well doubling as a bag).
